Decatur area pet owners – Lucky Dog Daycare is excited to announce our dog training classes! If you have a puppy or a dog needing to learn commands or help become a successful member of your family, then our obedience training services are perfect for you; and your pups! Some dogs need simple obedience training, which is the sit, down, stay, drop it commands, while others need behavioral training, which is more psychology-based—impulse control, reactivity, relationship, insecurity, etc.
Most dogs need a combination of obedience and behavioral training, which is why the training programs at Lucky Dog Daycare are designed to determine the needs of each dog individually, setting each owner and dog up for success. Every dog (and every dog/human pair) is different. Our obedience classes provide a variety of options allowing us to tailor services to each client’s needs and desires.

Meet Our Trainer - Celestina "Tina" Roux
Tina is a Certified Professional dog trainer and canine behavior specialist with over 15 years of professional dog training experience. Tina was responsible for the delivery and management of the dog training program at one of the largest nationwide pet retail stores, has managed doggy daycare training programs, and is skilled in providing group classes as well as one-on-one dog training.
The training programs at Lucky Dog Daycare are designed to determine the needs of each dog, then deliver the training that will “make your pet the best pet he or she can be!” Some dogs need simple obedience training, which is command based–sit, down, stay, drop it, etc.—while some dogs need behavioral training, which is more psychology-based—impulse control, reactivity, relationship, insecurity, dominance, etc. However, most dogs need a combination of the two.
Dog Training Classes & Certifications
In order to fit the needs of the client and their dog, there are multiple packages within the overall training program. Every dog (and every dog/human pair) is different, and this variety of options will allow us to tailor our services to each client’s needs and desires. Our certified trainer follows AKC guidelines which allow you to earn AKC Certifications and Titles for your dog.
